We will determine the students to be admitted by evaluating the submitted documents and their academic skills as a whole.

Individual Interview

Presentation (5min): To assess motivation, research plans, status of preparation, and future vision.

Questionnaire (15min): The interviewer will ask questions to check your ability to analyze data, such as graphs, maps, or tables, and your general ability to think logically. Questions may refer the content of your presentation, or to related issues in general.

  1. Applicants must contact the desired faculty advisor(s) in their area of specialization (see the list of specialization areas) prior to submitting the application for the examination. Applicants for the special examination for working individuals should confirm their intention at this time.
    If you have the second choice, contact them as well.
  2. Bring an original copy of the Official Score Certificate or Examinee (Test Taker) Score Report which is sent to the TOEFL examinee from ETS by postal mail, of the test you took after July 2015, which is attached on the form to be created after completing Web Entry, and submit on the first day of the exam at the time advised by your department in advance. (Refer to the attachment sheet for the details about submission.)
    If the score is not submitted properly, you will be excluded from the further selection.
  3. We will not accept the submission of TOEIC Institutional Program Score Report, TOEFL Institutional Test Score Record, or a photocopy of the Official Score Certificate.
    The original copy will not be returned to you.
  4. Questions on finance exam are covered in the designated textbook:

  5. You may choose Japanese or English for the specialized subjects and the interview.
  6. For General Admission Examination, the schedule (the date and the time) for the interview will be announced on the first day of the exam.

  2. On the exam of Basic Subjects, there will be a total of five problems, including two problems from Mathematics and three problems from Fundamentals of Computer Science. Select any three problems from the five problems.

  4.
