6. Screening Criteria
We will determine the students to be admitted by evaluating the submitted documents and their academic skills as a whole.
Examination Schedule and the Subjects

(1) Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Nano-Science and Nano-Technology, Materials Science

| Mathematics | Individual Interview Presentation on the master’s thesis or research achievements equivalent to master’s thesis for about 30 minutes which includes question-and-answer session. A projector or a blackboard is available. If you want to distribute an abstract in your presentation, prepare 20 copies in advance. |

- 1.Make sure to contact your prospective supervisor in advance.
- 2.(*1) Submit the original Official Score Certificate/Report of TOEIC, Examinee Score Record of TOEFL, or Test Report Form of IELTS (Academic Module) along with your application forms. Official Score Certificate/Report of TOEIC, Examinee Score Record of TOEFL, or Test Report Form of IELTS (Academic Module) taken after July 2017 is valid. A copy of the original and a PDF copy downloaded from the Internet are NOT acceptable.

- 3.Submit the original Official Score Certificate/Report of TOEIC, Examinee Score Record of TOEFL, or Test Report Form of IELTS (Academic Module) along with your application forms. We take the higher score if you submit more than one English score certificate.
- 4.Official Score Certificate/Report of TOEIC, Examinee Score Record of TOEFL, or Test Report Form of IELTS (Academic Module) taken after July 2017 is valid.
- 5.As for the schedule of the oral examination, please refer to the “Timetable of the oral examination” that will be sent by mail.
