Those who wish to apply for the “Special Selection of Working Individuals” must or will have at least three years of working experience (in aggregate) in fields related to health, medical care and welfare by the time of entrance.
 
No eligibility screening is required for the following individuals:
  • Applicants who have graduated or expect to graduate from a four-year university
    (Only those who have graduated can apply for the Special Selection of Working Individuals Examination)
  • Applicants who have earned or expect to earn a bachelor’s degree
    (Only those who have earned the degree can apply for the Special Selection of Working Individuals Examination)
  • Applicants who have a Type I or Advanced certificate issued under the Teachers License Act (22 years of age or older)
  • Others
  
Eligibility screening is required for the following individuals:
  • Applicants who have graduated from a junior college or high school
  • Applicants who have graduated from a vocational school or miscellaneous educational institution
  • Applicants who have graduated from a university of a foreign country which has a less than 16-year school system
