- Students enroll in April.
- The Subprogram in General Psychology and Subprogram in Clinical Psychology are in the Master’s Program in Psychology. The Subprogram in Clinical Psychology is an authorized Class 1 Designated Graduate School by the Foundation of the Japanese Certification Board for Clinical Psychologists. Furthermore, the Subprogram in Clinical Psychology has prepared a curriculum system for eligibility for admission to an examination for accredited psychologists since AY 2018.
- Individuals who have graduated from a four-year university
- Individuals who have earned a bachelor’s degree
- Individuals who have completed 16 years of a school curriculum overseas
- Individuals who are designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
- Individuals who are 22 years of age as of March 2020, and whose qualification is recognized as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree as the result of the Eligibility Screening conducted by the graduate school of the university

- (a) Individuals who are working as a teacher of a school prescribed in Article 1 of the School Education Act since the time of the filing of the application.
- (b) Individuals who have or expected to have working experience※ for a total of 3 years or more by the end of March 2020
- (c) Individuals who already have sufficient educational practice of preparing a master’s thesis in the course of 1 year or actual achievements for research articles, etc.
- (d) Individuals who substantially consulted in advance with the academic advisor of one’s choice for the research plan, etc.
- Calculated as the time to the end of March 2020; provided however, that if the individual resigns before that, it shall be by the scheduled date of resignation.
- If the number of months of experience is shorter than 1 month, it shall be calculated by rounding up to 1 month.
- The period of administrative leave shall not be calculated in the length of working experience.

Applicants will be deemed eligible if they meet one of the following requirements:
Applicants in the Special Selection of Working Individuals of the Master’s Program in Disability Sciences
If applying for the Special Selection of Working Individuals, it is necessary that the applicant comes under one of the following requirements (provided however, that except those who are expected) and has or is expected to have over 2 years of social experience (including work in business, civil service, educational institution, etc. and experience in engaging in household labor, etc.) irrespective of full-time or part-time service up to March 2020.

Applicants in the Special Selection of the One Year Course for Inservice Teachers of the Master’s Program in Disability Sciences
This program is for the purpose of responding to societal demand for the re-education of inservice teachers and acquisition of specialized certificate. In principle, the training term is 1 year.
For the eligibility for admission, the applicant who comes under one of the above requirements and satisfies all of the following (a) to (d)
