6. Screening Criteria
We will determine the students to be admitted by evaluating the submitted documents and their academic skills as a whole:

- Notes:
- The research plan (within 2,000 characters up to two A4 sized papers; can be in English (up to two A4 sized papers)) shall provide a description of the following items: ① title, area of study of your choice, and academic advisor of your choice, ② awareness of the issues, ③ purpose of research, ④ research approach, ⑤ state of previous research, and ⑥ prior research (or research plan up to graduation from the undergraduate level) and research plan in graduate school. The oral examination will be held in Japanese and each 5-minute presentation will be concluded with a question and answer session.

For more information on the Cooperative Graduate School System, click here. - The specialized subject has common issues of the Subprogram in General Psychology and Subprogram in Clinical Psychology and problems with the subprogram of your choice.
- The first stage examination (foreign language and specialized subject) will be held and the second stage examination (oral examination) will be held for those who passed the first. For those who passed the first stage examination, attendance will be confirmed at 9:50 on the day of the second stage examination so gather at the waiting room for the oral examination at that time. If your attendance is not confirmed, you cannot take the second stage examination (oral examination).
- There is no looking at a copy of your research plan while taking the oral examination.
- The admission decision for both the first stage examination and second stage examination will be based on each subprogram.
