Doctoral Program in Empowerment Informatics (First Year Enrollment)

8. Student Support

Students enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Empowerment Informatics are eligible for financial support in the form of stipend under the Financial Support Scheme for Special Fellows. Financial Support of 70,000 Japanese Yen will be paid to the students on a monthly basis. Any students receiving other forms of financial aid such as the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) Scholarship and JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (DC) are not entitled to apply for the scheme.

12. Security Export Control

University of Tsukuba has established the University of Tsukuba Rules on Security Export Control in accordance with the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act, and conducts strict examinations for acceptance of international students, etc. International applicants who fall under any of the conditions set out in said regulations may be unable to enter the Doctoral Program in Empowerment Informatics.
