Day and Evening Class Program for Working Doctoral Students in Risk and Resilience Engineering
(*Through Special Selection of Working Individuals Examination)

In this program, students can continue working at their jobs as they take day or evening classes at the Tokyo campus (in the Otsuka district of Bunkyo-ku).
It was launched in the 2009 academic year to promote the development and expansion of graduate school education for working individuals.
In some fields, students can receive instruction through a cooperative relationship with the Research Organization of Information and Systems of the Institute of Statistical Mathematics.

Individual who have the application eligibility for Special Selection of Working Individuals Examination for Doctoral Programs.
The number of students to be admitted for this program is included in the number for Special Selection of Working Individuals Examination for Doctoral Program in Risk and Resilience Engineering.

Every April

[Entrance Examinations]

August and February (Twice a year)

[Requirements to complete the program]
    • Earn a minimum of 12 credits (including Advanced Research in Risk and Resilience Engineering, Advanced Seminar in Risk and Resilience Engineering).
    • Conduct research and receive instruction, submit a doctoral thesis and pass the final examination.
