6. Screening Criteria

We will determine the students to be admitted by comprehensively evaluating the submitted documents and the result of the examination.

Examination Schedule and the Subjects

July Selection Process (Special Selection Process for Recommended Applicants)

Date – Wednesday, July 6 or Thursday, July 7
Subject Application Review
(100 points)		 Oral Examination
(500 points)
Language used in the oral examination – Japanese or English
Content of oral examination Application form, Academic Transcript, Letter of Recommendation, Research Plan, Research and Practice Overview, Peer-reviewed paper and Research Results will be evaluated. You will be expected to give a presentation about your research result and research plan (approximately 7 minutes). After the presentation, you will be questioned about the content of the presentation and basic knowledge in related fields. It takes 30 minutes per person.

August Selection Process (General Selection Process / Special Selection Process for Working Individuals)

After the presentation, you will be questioned about the content of your presentation and basic knowledge in the related fields.

Content of oral examination Application form, Academic Transcript, Letter of Recommendation, Research Plan, Research and Practice Overview and Research Results will be evaluated. You will be expected to give a presentation about your research result and research plan (approximately 15 minutes). After the presentation, you will be questioned about the content of your presentation and basic knowledge in the related fields.
The oral examination will be conducted using a video conference tool.
